Kathmandu Day Tour offers to visit different historical sites around the city with an experienced guide. Many monuments across Kathmandu are worth exploring but are not doable in a day. So, our day tour takes you to some of the selected tourist sites, such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swyambhunath Temple.

The Kathmandu day tour will be a blissful excursion that presents cultural heritage and history. You will learn about their beliefs, traditions, values, practices, art, and architecture. The tour begins early in the morning and ends in the late evening. The guide will brief you about the monuments, the history surrounding them, the major historical events, and many more.

Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. You find a temple in every corner of the city. All the places mentioned above are included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are more things to explore than we mentioned, but the tight time frame only lets us explore these sites. You can change the itinerary per your wishes and combine other tourist sites.

The Kathmandu day tour begins early in the morning. Our tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. We use a private vehicle as per the group size to commute between the monuments. First, we'll visit Swayambhunath Temple, known as the Monkey Temple. Situated on a hilltop, this place will let you enjoy peace and a fantastic aerial view of Kathmandu. Then our next stop will be Pashupatinath Temple. It is a pilgrimage site of huge importance to Hindus across the globe.

The tour then leads you to the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhnath Stupa. Amidst a very chaotic area of Kathmandu, you'll be amazed by the tranquillity once you enter the premises. The soft chants and scent of incense in the air are pure bliss. We then explore two ancient royal residences: Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. You will explore palaces, courtyards, shrines, museums, and local markets.

At the end of the tour, the guide will drop you off at your hotel. Do not forget to tip the guide and the driver if you are happy with their service.
