Kathmandu Day Tour involves visits to different historical sites around the city with an experienced guide. There are many monuments across Kathmandu that are worth exploring but not doable in a day. So, our day tour takes you to some of the selected tourist sites, such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swyambhunath Temple.

The Kathmandu day tour will be a blissful excursion that will present you with the rich cultural heritage of Nepali people and their history. You will learn about the beliefs of the Nepalese, their traditions, values, practices, art, and architecture. The tour begins early in the morning and ends in the late evening. The guide will brief you about the monuments, the history surrounding them, the major historical events, and many more.

Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and that is for a very good reason because you can find a temple in every corner of the city. All of the places we mentioned above are included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are more than what we mentioned, but the tight time frame only lets us explore these sites. You can make changes to the itinerary as per your wish too and combine other tourist sites.

The Kathmandu day tour begins early in the morning. Our tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. We use a private vehicle as per the group size to commute between the monuments. First, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, also known as the Monkey temple. Situated on a hilltop, this place will let you enjoy the peace and a fantastic aerial view of Kathmandu. Then our next will be Pashupatinath Temple. It is a pilgrimage site with huge importance to Hindus across the globe.

The tour then leads you to the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhnath Stupa. Amidst a very chaotic area of Kathmandu, you'll be amazed by the tranquillity once you enter the premises. The soft chants and scent of incense in the air is pure bliss. We then explore two ancient royal residences- Kathmandu Durbar Square & Patan Durbar Square. Here, you will be exploring palaces, courtyards, shrines, museums, and local markets.

At the end of the tour, the guide will drop you at your hotel. Do not forget to tip the guide and the driver if you are happy with their service.
