Terms and Conditions

Nepal Gateway Trekking (P) Ltd. is a well-recognized government-registered trekking company in Nepal. We are fully committed to giving you the best service.
Please read our booking terms and conditions carefully;

1. Payment Policy:

a) You need to deposit a 20% down payment as an advance into our bank account to secure your booking.

b) The remaining balance can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu. You can pay by either cash or credit card (4% service charge) Card Payment Form

2. Cancellation Policy:

Please find the cancellation information below:

a) By You:

  • i) Before one month, 10% of the total amount (90% refund)
  • ii) Before two weeks, 25% of the total amount (75% refund)
  • iii) Before one week, 50 % of the total amount (50% refund)
  • iv) Less than a week: 100% of the total amount (no refund)

b) By Us:

If we have to cancel your trip due to unexpected circumstances beyond our control, for example, natural disasters, civil war, terrorist activities, strikes, etc., we will inform you immediately. In this situation, we may offer you an alternative tour or refund your money.

3) Travel Insurance:

All our guests must have Travel Insurance that covers personal injury, death, medical expenses, helicopter rescue, baggage loss etc during your trip.

4) Health and Fitness:

For Nepal Trekking and Tours, previous experience is not necessary, but fitness certainly helps. If you have any underlying medical condition we may ask you to provide a doctor's certificate. 

5) Complaints:

We hope this won't be necessary, however, should you have any complaints about your holiday in Nepal with us, you are required to inform us at the time and we will do our best to rectify your concern.

6) Passport and Visas:

All our clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your return date after your tour. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport.

7) Program Change/Delay:

The program/Itinerary can be changed due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control; such as weather, political unrest, or natural disaster. The program is modified in the interest of the clients.
