Trisuli River Rafting is the most popular among all types of rafting in Nepal. The Trisuli River offers the most adventurous whitewater rafting in the country. The Trisuli River originates from a high mountain lake called Gosaikunda, where the water flows down with great speed. According to our myth, it is said that the river was created by God Shiva, the highest-ranking Hindu god. God Shiva thronged his Trident (Trisul) into the rocky mountain of Gosaikunda and became a river named Trisuli.

The Trisuli River is easily accessible from the Kathmandu valley, flowing by the side of the Mahindra Highway. The starting point for Trisuli river rafting is Charaudi. It is a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. You experience some thrilling rapids in Grade 3 and get to enjoy the scenic beauty. It goes through impressive gorges on the side of the river. During monsoons, the river turns into its gigantic form, eroding the bank and forming thrilling rapids. Rest of the year, Trisuli River offers big, bouncy, relatively safe flips.
