Trisuli River Rafting is the most popular type of rafting in Nepal and offers the most adventurous whitewater rafting in the country.
Trisuli River Rafting
The River originates from a high mountain lake called Gosaikunda, where the water flows down with great speed. According to our myth, the river was created by God Shiva, the highest-ranking Hindu god. God Shiva thronged his Trident (Trisul) into the rocky mountain of Gosaikunda and became a river named Trisuli.
The Trisuli River is easily accessible from the Kathmandu Valley, flowing by the side of the Mahindra Highway. The starting point for Trisuli river rafting is Charaudi. It is a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. You experience some thrilling rapids in Grade 3 and enjoy the scenic beauty. It goes through impressive gorges on the side of the river. During monsoon season, the river turns into its gigantic form, eroding the bank and forming thrilling rapids.
Trisuli River offers big, bouncy, relatively safe flips. The river is idyllic for starter rafters and kayakers during the spring and autumn seasons. Trisuli river rafting can also be idyllic for bird watchers and adventure lovers. Trisuli river rafting is one of the best whitewater rafting in the world.
