Trisuli River Rafting is Nepal's most popular rafting and offers the country's most adventurous whitewater rafting. The Trisuli river originates from a high mountain lake called Gosaikunda, where the water flows quickly. According to our myth, God Shiva, the highest-ranking Hindu god, created the river. God Shiva thronged his Trident (Trisul) into the rocky mountain of Gosaikunda and became a river named Trisuli.
The Trisuli River is easily accessible from the Kathmandu Valley, flowing by the side of the Mahindra Highway. The starting point for Trisuli river rafting is Charaudi. It is a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. You experience some thrilling rapids in Grade 3 and enjoy the scenic beauty.
