The hike starts with an almost two-hour journey from Kathmandu to Nagarkot in the early morning. The pleasure of seeing the sunrise from this vantage position will flood you as you climb the winding roads. After that, the hike from Nagarkot to the Changunarayan temple takes about 3 to 4 hours. The trail meanders through quaint towns, terraced farms, and thick forests, giving you a look into local culture and engulfing you in the embrace of nature.
