This rafting route is one of the shortest, covering distance of only 35 kilometers, and is best for those longing for a short escape. This trip starts from Damauli (4-5 hours drive from Kathmandu and an hour’s drive from Pokhara), and ends at Gai Ghat.

There are many tiny class 2 and 3 rapids on the serene Seti River. During the monsoon season, the intensity of the rapid increases. For those who choose to stay a few days in the tranquil valley of Chitwan and/or avoid taking the bus from Pokhara to Chitwan, this rafting excursion ends at Chitwan National Park. It is among the greatest rivers to learn kayaking.

We will begin our rafting adventure by paddling casually along the stunning scenery, where you can observe different bird species and snap photos till we arrive at Sarang Ghat, where we will spend the day camping. Meals: Lunch & DinnerAccommodation: Camping Tent

After a satisfying breakfast, we board our rafts, navigate a few class 3 rapids, and arrive at the renowned Trishuli River. About 20 minutes from Trishuli, we paddle down the river to Gai Ghat, our final destination. Sandstone and gavel deposited by previous rivers give way to the contorted, harsh rock formations.

From here, you can drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara, or stay at Chitwan, which takes one hour from Gai Ghat. You can also visit the nearby famous Hindu pilgrimage site, Devghat. The final two-day rafting distance is approximately 32 to 40 kilometres.
