Useful Info

Everest View Trek difficulty

Everest View Trek is an easy trek. 5 to 6 hours walk is needed each day, therefore your stamina has to be strong. From Phakding to Namche Bazar, the trail gets tough because of steep terrain, but you can overcome it with the help of your team.

Even though there are many modern services available along the trekking route, you will still be trekking in a remote area, which can get difficult for some trekkers to cope with. So, prepare yourself mentally too.

Altitude Sickness

The maximum altitude you will reach during the Everest View Trek is 3,860 meters at Tengboche monastery. Our Everest View Trek itinerary is well designed, maintaining the rise in elevation and adding ample rest days. It will let your body acclimatize as you explore and enjoy. On top of that, our guide will keep an eye on your health too.

Some of the early symptoms you should be careful about are insomnia, difficulty in breathing, headache, nausea, and loss of appetite. Drink plenty of water and avoid dehydrating substances like smoking & alcohol.

Everest View Trek Preparation

You do not have to do anything special for Everest View Trekking. Go on casual long walks, or best if you can go on some hikes. If you go to the gym, add cardio and strength training to your routine.

Everest View Trek Solo/Group

Join our Everest View Trek departure dates if you are a single trekker or we can organize a separate trek only for your group. At the same time, we can also help you trek alone with our guide and a porter if you wish.

Last Minute Booking

To book the Everest View Trek at the last minute (a week or a few days before the beginning of the trek), you have to send us 100% of the package cost. After receiving the money, we will confirm the trip and make reservations for you. Be available in Kathmandu at least a day before the trek starts. No refund will be made if the trekker canceled the trek.

Everest View Trek best time

We organize Everest View Trek in spring (March to April) and autumn (October to November). These are the best months to trek in the Everest region and enjoy clear views of the mountains. We also do Everest View Trekking in winter (December to February), but there can be a delay in the Lukla flight, and the temperature gets below zero. Spring and autumn have the perfect weather and climate to trek.

Everest View Trek Permit

Everest View Trek requires the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit, which costs NPR 2000 per person. Likewise, you also have to get the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit, which costs NPR 3000 per person. Our Everest View Trek cost has covered both of these permit costs.
