Time for you to relax around the lake, and marvel at the ice-clad peaks towering above you.

We leave our base in Pokhara to embark on a wonderful four-day trek into the foothills of the Annapurna Region to Ghorepani Poon Hill. The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is an ideal family trek, set on a wonderful trail, through lush sub-tropical forests rich with wildlife, pretty villages and neatly terraced hillsides. It is popular for its spectacular Himalayan panoramas, especially the sunrise over the Himalayas at Pun Hill. It is an easy trek, ideal for families and a great introduction to trekking and mountain culture. On your return to Pokhara, the next day there is a guided sightseeing and cultural tour around Pokhara, including a hike to The Peace Pagoda, and visiting caves and Mountain View spots.

From Pokhara, we take an early morning scenic drive to the jungles of Chitwan National Park. We spend two nights on Safari participating in a full range of jungle activities. Elephant walks, canoe trips, and bird watching with a lot of cultures added to the mix. Finally, on return to Kathmandu, a farewell meal and cultural show are arranged.

You will be introduced to your trek leader, he will answer any questions you may have regarding your tour. There is a whole day of sightseeing with this tour on day two, you will visit some of the most important sites in and around Kathmandu. These two days also provide you with an opportunity to adjust and settle into Nepal. A visit to Nepal’s bazaars and the many vibrant colourful markets is recommended. Also, time for you to purchase any items you may need for the trek to come.  There is a whole range of shops selling trekking gear, with branded name shops such as North Face, and Mountain Hardware among others. There are also many other shops selling a whole variety of trekking gear, and many of these offer very acceptable quality, at much lower prices.

  • Best of family tour in Nepal

Our decision to travel to Nepal actually was very spontaneous, but we never regretted about this decision. From the very first moment when we step out at Kathmandu airport, Raj made everything possible to make us feel cared about and excited.

We spent altogether 3 weeks traveling under Raj's guidance on the Anapurna trek, then living for few days in a small resort Pokhara, visiting Chitwan national park, enjoying amazing Lumbini, and finally exploring the Kathmandu area.

Raj took the best care of us, resolving unexpected issues in the best way and actually becoming our friend, with whom we still keep contact in 2 years after our trip. We certainly would like to come back to Nepal again and the only person we would trust is Raj.

We would recommend Raj as a trusted, knowledgeable, bright, and friendly person and just a very nice man!
