One of our team meet you at the Kathmandu airport. After a warm welcome, he will transfer you to the hotel and assist with check-in. You have a tour briefing in the evening. You meet one of our managers for it and he will brief the program, introduce your tour guide and address your needs. You also have a chance to ask questions regarding the trip.

After breakfast, you have a tour of Kathmandu Valley with an expert tour guide. You visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu Temple and cremation site on the bank of the sacred River, Bagmati. You visit Bodhanath Stupa, the biggest Buddhist Stupa in the world; Swayambhunath Stupa, the 2000-year-old legendary stupa also known as Monkey Temple. The day also includes visiting the ancient Patan Durbar Square.

Today you take an hour's drive to Bhaktapur, an ancient and traditional city of Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur Durbar Square remains as close to the living representation of how the entire Kathmandu Valley would have looked during the medieval periods. The city is well known for its glorious architecture and sky-high temples built in pagoda style. You have lunch here before moving up to the Hill station of Nagarkot. Nagarkot is known for its glorious sunset and sunrise views over the Himalayas ranging from Dhaulagiri in the west to Mt. Everest in the east.

You have wonderful sunrise views from the hotel window or balcony of the hotel. Then, you drive to Pokhara, a city of lakes after breakfast. The 7-8 hours drive to Pokhara offers the scenery of villages, terraces and big rivers.

Pokhara is a very special place with its natural beauty providing you with great photo opportunities. Walk along the shores of the Fewa Lake to visit Tal Bahari Temple in the middle of the lake. You enjoy the surrounding greenery with a spectacular panoramic view of the Annapurna Massif range which reflects in the lake.

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, you take a boat to cross the Fewa Lake to reach the hiking starting point. You hike an hour through the forest to reach The World Peace Stupa. The World Peace Stupa is located on a hill just above the famous Fewa Lake facing Mount Fishtail. The Stupa offers magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu range as well as Pokhara Valley with Fewa Lake. It is also a great place to see the sunset view over Pokhara with beautiful views of Annapurna and Fishtail.

Then you move to Devis Falls known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at its foremost in October after the monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening. Across the road from Devi’s Falls, this revered cave contains a huge stalagmite worshipped by Hindus as a Shiva lingam. Through a tunnel behind the shrine, you emerge in a damp cavern adjacent to the thundering waters of Devi’s Falls.

You start the day with an incredible sunrise view from Sarangkot. You drive very early morning to the small hilltop of Sarangkot contains a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the Annapurna and Daulagiri ranges.

You return to the hotel for breakfast to continue your journey to Chitwan National Park for a Safari tour. It is 5 hours drive to reach.  After checking in the hotel, you have a rest time before you go for a village walk and enjoy the cultural dance.

Chitwan National Park is well known for its jungle activities to experience wildlife. You do a jungle walk to see the animals, canoeing in the Rapti River to encounter crocodiles. Elephant back safari is one of the highlights of the tour. You can also do a jeep safari with the option to drive inside the jungle to see more animals, Bengal Tiger if you are lucky. The Greater one-horned rhinoceros roam free, while the great Asiatic elephants move about the jungles in herds.

In the morning, you go to the bank of the river with a nature guide to see the birds. Back to the hotel, have breakfast and get ready to drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is around 4 hours drive. You check in at the hotel and take a rest. You may go for an evening walk in the late afternoon.

You drive back to Kathmandu today. It is a scenic drive along the banks of the river, settlement villages, terraces and forest. You arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel. We take you for a farewell dinner in the evening.
