The Nepal Overland Tour is designed to provide you with a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Nepal and experience all that is good about it.We visit different parts of the country that provide a range of diversity and insight into this fascinating Himalayan Country.Experience the Nepali life and culture. There is also time to explore the beautiful  birds and wildlife found on Safari at Chitwan National Park. From the lush jungle on safari in Chitwan visit the more gentle spiritual side of Buddhism in Lumbini where Buddha was born. In between spend time in the historical ancient town Banipur before moving on to the beautiful lake town of Pokhara. The mountain backdrop of the town is probably the best anywhere in the world.The tour is designed for people not wishing to trek and it is ideal for Families . At the end of the tour you will have a closer understanding of what makes Nepal such a fascinating holiday destination with its heritage sites,colors,lifestyle and traditions.

After breakfast we have a good day introducing you to some of the most important sites in broader Kathmandu Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple and cremation site on the banks of sacred Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa in the world! and Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa also nick-named as monkey temple.The day also includes visits to the ancient Kings squares of Kathmandu and Patan.

Today we take the one hour drive to Bhaktapur. Among the three major cities of the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur remains as close to the living representation of how the entire Kathmandu Valley would have looked like during the medieval periods. The city is celebrated for its glorious architecture; sky-high temples built in pagoda style.We take lunch here before moving up to the Hill station of Nagarkot. Nagarkot (2175m) is known for its glorious sunset and sunrise views over the Himalayas ranges from Dhaulagiri in the west and Mt. Everest in the east.

Soon after Breakfast we leave for the seven hours drive to the Pokhara, city of lakes. Pokhara is a very special place with its natural beauty providing you great photo opportunities. Walk along the shores of the Fewa lake enjoying the greenery surrounding you with a spectacular panoramic view of  the high Himalayan peaks of the Annapurna Massif that reflect in the lake. This is time to truly relax at leisure perhaps in a lakeside restaurant or do some boating.

The World Peace stupa is located on a hill just above the famous lake Fewa facing Mount Fishtail.The Stupa offers a great place to see the sun set over Pokhara with beautiful views of Annapurna and Fishtail.We move on to Devis Falls also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at its most foremost in October after the monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening.Across the road from Devi’s Falls, this revered cave contains a huge stalagmite worshiped by Hindus as a Shiva lingam. Through a tunnel behind the shrine we emerge in a damp cavern adjacent to the thundering waters of Devi’s Falls.

We start the day off with an incredible view of the Nepal sunrise with a drive to the small hilltop of Sarangkot that contains a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the Annapurna range, and Pokhara. We return to our hotel for breakfast before continuing our journey to Chitwan National Park for Safari. After Checking into our Safari Lodge in the evening there will be a cultural dance program.

Chitwan is situated in the southern region of Nepal, the jungles of Chitwan National Park are ideal for wildlife experiences like no other. Go in search of the majestic Royal Bengal tiger and watch the Greater one-horned rhinoceros roam free, while the great Asiatic elephants move about the jungles in herds. Today we do jungle walk, cannoning, Elephant back Safari.

Our transport is ready to take us on to Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha. On arrival we transfer to our hotel and stroll the gardens of peace at Lumbini.

Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, it is one of the world's most important spiritual sites and attracts Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. Today we will visit some over twenty-five Buddhist monasteries built by diverse countries from Vietnam to France,within the sacred Mayadevi Gardens.

We leave for the journey back to Kathmandu today, a scenic drive along the banks of the river on the way.We will lunch at a riverside restaurant. Arriving Kathmandu in the afternoon and transferring to our hotel.
