This was our third trek with Ram and we will never trek with another company. Ram and Raj are extremely communicative during the entire planning process and the guides and porters they hire are conscientious and professional to the extreme. They make trekking such a joyful and relaxing experience. My husband and I love to travel and rarely go the same place twice, but Nepal is so incredible and Nepal Gateway Trekking makes the trip so easy that we keep going back again and again. Can't wait until next time!

The Langtang Gosaikunda Lauribina Pass Trek was the trip we did and it was the most rewarding experience I have had, it was very enduring with a lot of altitude gain and moderate to rough terrain. The outlook is a blend of stunning scenery mixing endless snow-capped mountains, deep forested valleys visiting cute timeless villages. Staying in authentic tea houses hosted by beautiful people made the end of each days journey a delight. This holiday was certainly the adventure of a lifetime for me I enjoyed the entire journey and we are planning a return trip. We had a fantastic adventure led by Raj back with Biru. I highly recommend Raj and Nepal Gateway Trekking, they are very welcoming, lovely people to be friends with and a very professional well-run company.

Amazing trip! Spectacular scenery walking up the Langtang valley through rhododendron forest towards impressive snow-capped mountains. Spectacular climb to the top of Chorka Ri. Gosaikunda Holy lakes surrounded by snow, rock gompas and small temples was beautiful.
We all really appreciated how well we were looked after by Raj and his team. We stayed in comfortable accommodation and Raj made sure we ate delicious and safe food. They were encouraging, friendly and good fun and we enjoyed fun parties to celebrate Nepalese and New Year and the end of trek.
We plan to be back to trek with Raj again!

I had a solo trip to EBC and Gokyo via Chola Pass in mid October 2022. My contact point was Raj, one of the partners of “Nepal Gateway”. He is very professional and prompt in his reply. When all of the flights to Lukla were cancelled due to bad weather, he took the extra effort to arrange a helicopter for me to reach Lukla. I met my porter/guide, Nir, at Lukla. He is extremely familiar with the route, very experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. Along the way, he explained the local Sherpa people and their lifestyle, beliefs, and culture. He fed me information about the peaks of Himalayas and plants, trees and fruits. He has a good eye to spot the rare species of Bark deer and Himalayan Monal, the national bird of Nepal. Nir is a very energetic, friendly, and responsible person whom you can rely on for your journey in the wild. He tried for the best possible tea houses to stay in and introduced me to various choices of food. He had access to internet connection at all times. I was grateful that he sent messages to my husband in Canada from each new stop. Raj is an extraordinary and down to earth person. Very helping in nature. He took me to different restaurants in Kathmandu to taste the various food of Nepal. Additionally, he called taxis for me when I was sightseeing in the city of Kathmandu. Overall, I am very pleased with Raj for his honesty and sincerity. I had a memorable experience with “Nepal Gateway” which I will cherish forever. I highly recommend “Nepal Gateway“ to make your memorable journey to the Himalayas.

Extraordinary trip 12 days in Upper Mustang in trekking and road trip This is the 2nd time that Rajendra has organised our stay in Nepal. As always, the organizational communication was perfect. Rajendra incorporated all of our special requests into his program. During the trekking, he took care of us constantly. He shared with us his excellent knowledge of Mustang, historical, and cultural, as well as the most beautiful landscapes. Thanks to him, we were able to meet craftsmen and villagers and attend 2 festivals. With 20 years of experience, Rajendra is an extremely competent, attentive and caring guide. A friend of mine had been using Raj and his colleagues for 11yrs trekking in Nepal. When I decided to visit Nepal again I didn't hesitate to reach out to Raj to get some help with a few trekking itineraries. From the very first email communication to the pickup on arrival at the airport it was a great experience. Good communication and assistance every step of the way.

Had an amazing trip in the Everest Region (three passes trek), I saw so much and experienced the food, culture, and friendly nature of locals and guide me along the whole journey. Nepal Gateway Trekking crew was so nice and full of knowledge. I learned so much from them, such a fun trip. Would definitely do it again. Cherished memories.

My girlfriend and I did the Annapurna circuit hike in May with Nepal Gateway Trekking. It was awesome!

When organizing the trip we had the chance to ask anything we wanted and make sure everything was okay. Once we arrived in Nepal, we were received very well. They took the time to inform us about the itinerary and make sure that we could change whatever we wanted. They also made sure we had everything we needed. So we felt very much in control, even though they made great suggestions.

Once the trip started our guide (Ramchandra Godar) took care of everything. He gave great advice about food, clothing, and anything else, and made sure we were alright every step of the way. We also enjoyed playing card games and just talking a lot with him!

All in all this was definitely one of the coolest experiences that we've ever had. And Nepal Gateway Trekking played a very important part in this. Thanks so much!!

This past December, I had the chance to go to Nepal with my dad for his 50th birthday. Upon arrival at the Kathmandu international airport, we were greeted by our guide DB. He was not only our guide he was also are doctor, chef, comedian, ... and our friend. When we arrived at Lukla the well-known airport 😯 we met our new friend and porter Sujan. If you ever meet him don’t hesitate to ask him about his waterproof shoes and the techniques to sliding in the Himalayan(😂😂). Throughout our trek, DB explains the cultural elements of the Nepal people but he also entertains us with dancing at Gokyo lake, jokes around the fire at night, sliding in the Himalayas with a garbage bag, the names of all the high peaks, and much more. Unfortunately, when we got to Phadking I was all stuffed up but DB had a trick up his sleeve he gave me his local medicine which helped a lot. DB showed us the way to Gokyo and we had incredible views of Everest, the biggest glacier of the Himalayas, and the lakes. When we got back to Kathmandu we had a week left in Nepal so my dad and I decided we wanted to do the Poonhil trek. We had a pretty special bus ride to Pokhara with the traffic and sharp turns. The Poonhill sunrise was beautiful. When we finished our trek we went back to Pokhara and celebrated New Year with DB, his Uncle, and the thousands of Nepal people. We had a great time. Throughout our trip, DB made sure we were not hungry, cold and made sure we had fun. Thanks again DB and Sujanfor the trip of a lifetime!
